Sharon Hartman's love for photography began at the age of 10. She started with a Brownie Hawkeye and a patient father who helped her plug light leaks in the family's basement so she could process her first roll of film.

While living in Japan the passion for photography only heightened. Her photo travels include Hong Kong and the ancient ruins of Ankor Wat. She received several awards for her black and white photographs.

Upon returning to the U.S. she used her skills extensively to develop language with her hearing impaired students. Sharon also continues to earn awards for her photos and teaches photography.

In 1988, when Sharon was out jogging, her friend asked a life changing question. "When are you going to get serious about your photography?" Serious she did get. Sharon took the challenge from her friend. She worked under a mentor for a period of time and then launched her own business.
